Is it safe and mess-free?+
Yes. The 8'×8' sluice contains all the water, guests rinse gems in flowing water with mesh bags, and we set up on grass, pavement, or pavilion floors. We handle setup and full cleanup.
Do guests really keep what they find?+
Every single stone. We bring real gems, minerals, fossils, and treasures, and every bag goes home with whatever was inside it, plus a gem ID card.
How does pricing work?+
Private parties are flat-priced for up to 25 people: $495 Classic Mining Experience or $695 Signature Mining Experience. For festivals, fairs, fundraisers, HOAs, corporate events, schools, churches & daycares, reach out for a custom quote based on your event.
What areas do you serve?+
All of eastern Nebraska and western Iowa, Omaha, Lincoln, Bellevue, Council Bluffs, and surrounding metros. We include up to 20 miles of travel in our pricing for areas we serve. Anything outside that 20-mile radius has a travel fee added, reach out for a quick quote.
What do you need from us on event day?+
A flat 10×10 space, access to a standard water spigot, and an outlet within ~50 feet. That's it, we bring the sluice, water tanks, bags, gems, and crew.
Can adults mine too?+
Absolutely. Most of our events have just as many adults at the sluice as guests. It's all ages, all the time.
